Convenience Store Lost Income Dispute
A mini-market was closed for a period of time as a result of work being done by a governmental entity. At issue was the loss of income for the period of time the store was closed. Hoslett Forensics was engaged to provide a loss of income analysis for the period in question which aided the parties in settling the matter prior to trial. Â
Truck Gas Station Lost Income Dispute
A truck inadvertently destroyed numerous gas station pumps at a busy truck stop which resulted in one-third of the gas pumps being non-operation for a four-month period. Hoslett Forensics was engaged to provide a loss of income analysis for both the gas and convenience store sales for the period in question which aided the parties in settling the matter prior to trial. Â
Commercial Building Lost Rent & Value Dispute
Hoslett Forensics was engaged to provide rebuttal testimony related to loss of rent and loss of use claims as well as other accounting issues related to the purchase price of the building. Hoslett Forensics quantified the accounting issues under different scenarios and provided deposition testimony in the matter which aided the parties in settling the matter.
Dental Practice v. Bank Lending Dispute
Hoslett Forensics was engaged by a dental office group in a dispute against their bank for forcing the sale of the dental practice during the COVID lockdown period. Hoslett Forensic calculated the lost income and lost business value under different scenarios and provided deposition and arbitration testimony which resulted in a favorable outcome to the client.
Mobile Home Installation Dispute
Hoslett Forensics was engaged as a neutral accountant to provide an accounting of the installation of a mobile home and the related costs in dispute. Hoslett Forensics worked directly with both parties to provide an accurate accounting of the installation costs as well as an accounting for the items in dispute which resulted in the matter settling.
